This is your chance to help the U.S. right the ship after their embarrassing 3-1 loss against Costa Rica.
On Saturday, June 6th, the U.S. Men’s National Team will welcome Honduras to Soldier Field in Chicago in what now has become a must-win match for Bob Bradley’s team.
Three days before the U.S. were beaten handily by Costa Rica in San Jose and the effects of the 3-1 drubbing are still quite clear.
Now is your chance to reverse the fortunes of the struggling side and pick a starting XI who will take it to Honduras in front of 50,000 plus this weekend.
The midfield of the team will have to change as Michael Bradley’s yellow card against Costa Rica means he’ll miss the Honduras match. The contributions from the center four as a whole were sketchy, so maybe you’ll field an entirely new midfield? That’s up to you.
What about up top? Conor Casey is now in the side replacing the injured Brian Ching, should he get the start as a useful target man who other players can feed off of? He does lead MLS in goals, after all. It'd be his tenth international appearance if he does.
Go ahead and pick your XI, and let’s hope that whoever Bradley fields will play a stronger game than we saw on Wednesday.
